Opioid Crisis

A primary concern is Ohio’s opioid and addiction problem. Ohioans have been victimized and continue to struggle with addiction that they never searched for; addiction that was over-prescribed to them and that they were never given the tools to overcome. What started as a solution to reduce pain has become a life-long addiction struggle, which continues to go untreated in our communities. We need Representatives that support expanding access to naloxone and other opioid reversal medication, as well as fentanyl test strips, to reduce fatal overdose deaths.
