Education & Labor Readiness

Ohioians take pride in their education. We need to do more to support our public schools and trade unions, giving individuals career options. Specifically, we need to increase salaries for public school teachers and school counselors to support our students in public school districts. Similarly, we need to invest in education to increase the number of school counselors, teachers, and public school administrators entering the workforce. Meanwhile, we must ensure that our school facilities are safe and comfortable, focusing on structural integrity and ensuring teachers do not have to pay out of pocket for classroom necessities. In addition to supporting our public education system, we must prepare students for a career. Higher education is not the only option, and we must advocate for career readiness via trade opportunities
